Scaffolding and Temporary Construction Bracing

Scaffolding and temporary bracing are essential for site safety, but without proper anchoring, they’re a hazard. Wind, soft ground, or slight shifts can lead to collapse or instability. GroundGrabba screw-in anchors offer a fast, secure way to stabilise scaffold legs and braces across varied terrain. From compacted clay to sandy fill, our deep-drive design ensures your structures stay steady and safe—without concrete or digging.

Pro II Packs

With 615mm of heavy-duty steel and deep aggressive flights, the Pro II is your go-to for anchoring scaffolding or temporary bracing in soft to medium ground. Installed with a cordless impact wrench, it drives deep to resist pull-out and lateral loads in wind or uneven terrain. Ideal for worksites where standard pegs simply won’t cut it.

Commercial Pro I Packs

At 600mm long with a 15mm shaft, the Commercial Pro I provides serious holding strength for job sites needing fast, secure anchoring of scaffolding base plates or stabilisation frames. Suited for harder ground or heavier loads, it’s a durable, reusable alternative to concrete footings or trenching.

Commercial Pro II Packs

When ultimate hold is non-negotiable, the 900mm Commercial Pro II delivers. With deeper ground penetration and a wider collar, it’s the heavy-duty choice for temporary structures in soft soil or high-risk areas. Use it with tie-down cables or steel bracing to lock things down with confidence.

Multi L Bracket

Designed for flexibility on job sites, the Multi L Bracket allows you to bolt scaffolding base plates, diagonal braces, or temporary fencing directly to a GroundGrabba anchor. The slotted design suits different bolt spacings, and it’s made from thick galvanised steel for all-weather use.

From the founder:

Hi, I’m David Levine, inventor of GroundGrabba. In 2017, Susu and I set out to create purpose-built ground anchors. Today, our range secures everything from tents to tiny homes. We back our steel anchors with a Lifetime Replacement Warranty* and a 100% RISK-FREE 12-month return policy. Whatever you need to anchor, we’ll keep you grounded.

Hook Washer 14 Commercial

Designed for use with GR14 Commercial GroundGrabba anchors, the Hook Washer 14 prevents the wide collar flange (41mm) beneath the hex head from pulling through oversized base plate holes. Its large teardrop loop allows for easy attachment of cable systems or brackets, making it ideal for securing scaffolding or bracing where strong lateral support is required.

Scaffolding and Temporary Construction Bracing Ground Anchoring

In the dynamic world of construction, stability is everything—especially when it comes to scaffolding and temporary bracing structures. These setups, although meant to be mobile and short-term, still require firm anchoring to ensure worker safety, equipment stability, and compliance with site safety regulations.

Temporary bracing often faces shifting loads, wind pressure, and site movement. Meanwhile, scaffold frames are vulnerable to toppling or movement if not adequately tied down. That’s where GroundGrabba’s commercial-grade ground anchors offer a professional, purpose-built solution.

Instead of using makeshift weights or burying stakes manually, GroundGrabba anchors install easily with a cordless impact wrench, providing reliable holding power across a range of ground types. Whether the terrain is hard-packed clay, compact fill, or loose soil, our GR14 Commercial anchors like the Commercial Pro I (600mm x 15mm) and Commercial Pro II (900mm x 15mm) are engineered to deliver superior grip and structural integrity.

For scaffolding systems or wall braces with baseplates or bracing points that require external anchors, GroundGrabba allows you to set, tension, and release anchors with speed and precision. This means less time struggling with rebar, stakes, or concrete, and more time staying on schedule. The deep-cut flighting on each anchor drills into the earth, offering strong resistance against uplift, shear, and pull-out forces—critical for structural safety.

In environments where scaffold footings or bracing brackets have oversized mounting holes, our Hook Washer 14 solves a common problem. It’s designed to support the 41mm collar flange of GR14 Commercial GroundGrabba models, preventing the anchor from slipping through under load. The large tear-drop hole also enables fast connection of tie-downs or brackets, especially where tensioned cable or strapping is used.

And when you need lateral bracing—say, stabilising temporary framing or formwork—the Multi L Bracket delivers solid anchor-to-structure connection. Designed with multiple mounting points and a strong galvanised finish, it adapts to various site setups and bracing styles.

Scaffolding setups often need to be removed or reconfigured quickly, especially in tight urban builds or evolving worksites. GroundGrabba anchors are fully reusable—just reverse your drill to back them out of the ground. There's no digging, no jackhammering, and no damaged equipment. That also means cost savings over time, especially on longer or multi-phase jobs.

Unlike generic earth screws or tent stakes, GroundGrabba products are engineered to work with real-world site demands. The Pro II range (615mm x 10mm) is an excellent mid-tier option for lighter-duty structures or non-critical bracing applications in firm ground.

For heavier construction-grade anchoring, our commercial products are used by contractors, builders, and event installers across Australia. And because our products are Australian-designed and built, you can count on consistent quality and performance backed by real testing in Australian soils.

If your project requires a temporary solution with permanent peace of mind, GroundGrabba is your go-to choice for scaffolding and bracing ground anchors. Safer sites. Faster installs. Reusable systems. No compromise.
