Built for the Bush: Ground Anchors That Bite Deep and Hold Strong
When it comes to bush camping, remote installs, or rugged outdoor use, anchoring securely can make the difference between a safe, enjoyable stay or a wind-blown disaster. GroundGrabba’s range of purpose-built, drill-driven ground anchors offer serious holding power across Australia’s toughest bush terrain—whether you’re pitching a tent, tying down an awning, or securing larger structures like gazebos or solar panel frames.
Unlike coach bolts, which are designed for timber, or traditional hammer-in pegs that easily loosen in forest mulch or claypan, GroundGrabbas are engineered for the earth itself. Their aggressive spiral flights grip hard into dense, dry soils or rock-laced clay, giving you the confidence that your setup will hold—even in gusty conditions.
For general use, the GroundGrabba Pro and Pro I are ideal for firm to hard bush ground. They’re compact, heavy-duty, and made from heat-treated, hot-dipped galvanised carbon steel—ready to bite into rocky or sunbaked terrain where regular pegs simply can’t get a grip.
Need even more holding strength? The Pro II, at 615mm long, is built to anchor serious loads in softer areas like forest beds, riverbanks, or sandy clearings. It’s a favourite for larger shelters, awnings, tarps, or camper trailer tie-downs, offering the deepest penetration and greatest lateral resistance in the Pro range.
For commercial-grade holding, the GR14 series—including the Commercial Pro I and Commercial Pro II—steps up with 15mm shafts and larger collars for extreme strength and lateral stability. These are the go-to anchors when bracing high-stress applications like mounted gear racks, storage tents, or off-grid battery boxes that must stay secure for extended stays.
If you’re setting up lightweight structures or want something easily portable, the GroundGrabba Lite anchors are perfect for soft ground and casual use. Made from tough nylon, they twist in by hand and feature built-in hooks for fast rope attachment—ideal for shade shelters, fly tarps, or even dog leads in softer terrain.
From quick day trips to multi-day bush expeditions, GroundGrabba has a bush ground anchor to suit every load, every soil type, and every adventure. No concrete, no hammering, and no more worries about your gear going walkabout when the wind picks up.
Let us enjoy being adventurous in the bush by making sure you’ve got your check list sorted. Top of the list ‘GroundGrabba’s’…forget the coach bolts they are adaptable but made for use in timber.
GroundGrabba Pro and Pro ll are designed from the ground up to screw into most substrates from rocky and hard ground making these the toughest Bush Ground Anchors you will find today.
From the Bush to the river side…we’ve got you covered!
