    What tools do I need to install GroundGrabbas?

    For best results, use a cordless drill or impact wrench with the correct socket size (supplied with most kits). A ratchet wrench, wheel brace, or manual T-handle can also be used, but they are not recommended for larger anchors. ⚠️ Important: GroundGrabba Lite must not be installed with an impact driver or impact wrench — use a drill or hand tool only.

    300mm and 315mm GroundGrabba Pro anchors deliver up to 3× the holding power of standard tent pegs in typical soils.
    They are best suited for general camping use in firm ground and grass-topped sandy soils.
    For stronger winds or softer sand, step up to the longer Pro I (450/465mm) or Pro II (600/615mm).

    Ease of use - Great Design

    First trip away with my new Ground Grabba Pro Pegs securing a 10'x10' Southern Cross tent and caravan awning, Easter 2025 at Micalong Creek, near Wee Jasper/NSW.

    In an effort to choose a Ground Grabba peg suitable for most ground conditions - aka 'universal fishing rod', we opted for the Pro 315mm peg. Micalong Creek, while the ground was dry and firm, the pegs were easy to deploy and remove. We'll be back on the Canning Stock Route late June, so hoping they also hold well in desert sand.

    The Pro Pegs worked brilliantly using the 'pig-tail collars', quick to deploy, they applied equal tension to all securing rings, something I've struggled with in the past when using basic steel tent pegs.

    I recently purchased the 8 piece pro kit, excellent delivery, first test in the home turf into sand, really solid anchor. I also have the large bore orange plastic version, they held the car awning easily in a W.A. sea breeze, soft beach sand, should have got them years ago

    Great product, easy to use, great fixing even in soft sand.
    Only criticism i have is that when i placed the order for a 4 piece kit i thought it included 4 stakes, not 2 stakes and the retaining hooks. Could be a little misleading, other than that, product is awesome
