GroundGrabba’s Portable Building & Tiny Home Ground Anchor Kits are ideal for securing lightweight and semi-permanent structures to the ground in high-wind or off-grid conditions. Whether you’re anchoring a tiny house, a site office, a demountable, or a shipping container home, this system offers a strong, simple, and removable solution.

Installation is easy:

Using a high-torque drill or impact wrench you can drive each GroundGrabba Commercial Pro II earth anchor into the ground quickly—no digging, concrete, or specialist tools required.

Tie-down connection:

Once installed, use the included stainless steel cable kit to connect each anchor to your structure. Each kit includes 4 or 6 X 900mm GroundGrabba Commercial Pro II, ClosedHook bow shackle, turnbuckle, clamps, and a 1.5m stainless steel cable with a crimped loop for quick setup and tensioning.

IMPORTANT***Please note that these figures are a guide only.  The results are vertical lift absolute momentary peak readings and you should allow a decent safety margin.   Ground types vary. Through the depth of one ground anchor the ground can be of different densities therefore different anchoring characteristics.    These all rely on correct deployment.

  • Match the correct cable gauge and GroundGrabba for the size and strength of the animal you intend to secure.
  • Deploy your GroundGrabba correctly for maximum anchoring
  • Misuse or abuse of GroundGrabba products can lead to injury or worse to the user or bystanders. 
  • Not to be used with mains powered drills. 
  • When using Battery drills please refer to the drill manufacturers warnings and safety instructions prior to use with GroundGrabba products. 
  • Only use GroundGrabba products for their intended purpose of ground anchoring things such as tents and shade canopies.
  • Always hold your drill firmly with both hands and use the inside of your legs as a drill guide with the drill handle in between your legs to help prevent torque twisting wrist or other injury. 
  • Always start your drill on the lowest torque setting.  Use a good quality high torque drill or impact wrench. 
  • For hard or extremely hard grounds we recommend pre drilling a minimum of a 10mm pilot hole to help with insertion. GroundGrabba Lites are only for soft loose grounds.
  • Some grounds will be impenetrable. 
  • Use the correct GroundGrabba for the job. 
  • The GG Pro (12") are not for loads in sand or soft grounds.
