Our entry level GroundGrabba Junior makes set up in medium to harder grounds quick and easy with the extra security and knowledge that they will hold up to 3X more than the old hammer-in stakes which originated thousands of years ago. 

The 15mm hexhead with its surrounding flange provides a stable platform for your drill to help reduce wobbling as you push down on your drill.

Set Up  

Just place the 15mm socket in your drill and drive these babies down...or out.

To make connecting guy ropes and spring tensioners easy our check out our unique adaptor accessories. Once the rope or spring is connected, they wont drop off or disconnect unless you physically remove them. 

If you want to hold down tarps directly to the ground or hold down your pop up gazebo that have smaller holes then The Fang is a fantastic adaptor to use.

Recommendations

Recommended Tools to hire or own to help with installation: 

**You will need a 15mm deep impact socket and set of spanners (for locking the two supplied nuts into themselves)**

  • For driving these into the ground, we recommend a high-torque impact wrench.
  • Use a masonry drill at least the same length as the GR14 you choose for pilot holes in harder ground.

Important Note:

Please note that these are not toys. Ensure you have a powerful drill, especially for hard ground conditions.

  • Always hold your drill firmly with both hands and use the inside of your legs as a drill guide with the drill handle in between your legs to help prevent torque twisting wrist or other injury. 
  • Always start your drill on the lowest torque setting.  Use a good quality high torque drill or impact wrench. 
  • For hard or extremely hard grounds we recommend pre drilling a minimum of a 10mm pilot hole to help with insertion. GroundGrabba Lites are only for soft loose grounds.
  • Some grounds will be impenetrable. 
  • Use the correct GroundGrabba for the job. 
  • The GG Pro (12") are not for loads in sand or soft grounds.

What tools do I need to install GroundGrabbas?

For best results, use a cordless drill or impact wrench with the correct socket size (supplied with most kits). A ratchet wrench, wheel brace, or manual T-handle can also be used, but they are not recommended for larger anchors. ⚠️ Important: GroundGrabba Lite must not be installed with an impact driver or impact wrench — use a drill or hand tool only.

Hold Strength

GroundGrabba Juniors are shorter, lighter-duty anchors designed for quick installs in medium to hard ground.
They provide a stronger hold than standard tent pegs in compact soils but are not suited to soft sand or very loose soils.
For greater pull-out strength in softer conditions, upgrade to the GR13 Pro series or Commercial GR14 range.

The GROUNDGRABBA JUNIOR 4 STAKE - 13 PIECE KIT is the perfect solution because the pegs are very solid and fit through the awning leg holes and penetrade deep into the ground. The high quality adapters allow me to attached tiedown ropes to the awning.
