Extended Reach for Loose or Sandy Ground

When the ground softens and deeper hold is needed, the 450mm GroundGrabba Pro I 8 Piece Kit delivers reliable anchoring power. Ideal for securing gazebos, fencing, shelters, or dog tethers in sandy or unpredictable soil, these longer anchors bite deeper and hold tight.

Built for jobs where a basic stake won’t do the job, the Pro I installs quickly using an impact wrench, giving you fast, dependable earth anchoring without the need for concrete.

Original Series – 19mm Hex

This product is part of the original GroundGrabba range featuring the 19mm hex head. Customers often ask how these compare with the newer USA-manufactured GroundGrabbas. In real-world use, holding power is virtually the same.

Read the full explanation of why GroundGrabba changed from 19mm to 16mm hex.

What tools do I need to install GroundGrabbas?

For best results, use a cordless drill or impact wrench with the correct socket size (supplied with most kits). A ratchet wrench can also be used, but is not recommended for larger anchors. ⚠️ Important: GroundGrabba Lite must not be installed with an impact driver or impact wrench — use a drill or hand tool only.

    Hold Strength

450mm and 465mm GroundGrabba Pro I anchors provide significantly greater pull-out strength than the 300/315mm model.
They are ideal for use in softer soils and sandy conditions where deeper bite is required.
Not suitable for impenetrable rock or iron-hard ground.

For detailed pull-out results and technical information, see our Grabbing Power section.
