  • Use a good quality high torque drill or impact wrench.
  • For hard or extremely hard grounds we recommend pre-drilling a minimum of a 12mm pilot hole to help with insertion.
  • Some grounds will be impenetrable.
  • Use the correct GroundGrabba for the job.

If using our GroundGrabba Commercial ground anchors or Threaded ground anchors with a 15mm shaft, we recommend using the 15mm x 900mm masonry drill with SDS shank.

You may need to drill the ground an inch or two at a time and keep clearing the hole if the ground is ‘that’ hard.  Perhaps you may also need to widen the hole too

Can you deliver to my address if I'm not in a metro area?

Yes. We ship Australia-wide with Australia Post from our warehouse in Willawong, QLD. Regional and remote deliveries can take longer, so check the Australia Post delivery time calculator (https://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/calculate-postage-delivery-times) for your postcode. Orders ship with Authority to Leave unless you request a signature. Parcels left under Authority to Leave are at your risk once Australia Post marks them as delivered. You can request Signature on Delivery before dispatch through our contact form. Orders ship from our warehouse in Willawong, QLD via Australia Post. Orders placed before 11:00am QLD time (Mon–Fri) are ready for dispatch the next business day. What warranty is included?

All steel GroundGrabba anchors carry our Lifetime Warranty if they break or wear out in normal use, for all buyers including business and commercial customers, when used within the product's rated limits and our installation instructions. Coatings, galvanising and finishes are never covered, and misuse and overloading aren't covered. Keep your GroundGrabba invoice (or your authorised stockist's invoice) as proof of purchase; the warranty is for the original purchaser and isn't transferable. To claim, send us photos and a short explanation through our contact form, and we'll decide, at our discretion and our cost, whether to replace it, refund you or ask for the item back. The GroundGrabba Lite and accessories such as carry bags, drill bits, socket drivers, carabiners and guy ropes have a 12-month manufacturer's warranty. Details: /pages/lifetime-warranty

What is your return policy?

Personal-use purchases can be returned or exchanged for change of mind within 12 months of delivery, even if used – with or without the packaging. Please contact us first for approval (/pages/contact). For a return you pay the return freight plus a $19.95 handling fee. For an exchange you pay the return freight, the $29.95 exchange handling fee, the freight to send you the replacement, and any price difference. Faulty items and warranty claims are at our cost. Business and commercial purchases can't be returned for change of mind. Purchases made before 1 November 2026 come with a 12-month risk-free return at our expense, even if you've used the product – contact us within 12 months of delivery and we'll arrange the return, pay the return freight and refund you for the product, with no handling fee.
