- Always hold your drill firmly with both hands and use the inside of your legs as a drill guide with the drill handle in between your legs to help prevent torque twisting wrist or other injury.
- Always start your drill on the lowest torque setting. Use a good quality high torque drill or impact wrench. NB: Impact equipment must never be used with GroundGrabba Lites or warranty will be void.
- For hard or extremely hard grounds we recommend pre drilling a minimum of a 10mm pilot hole to help with insertion. GroundGrabba Lites are only for soft loose grounds.
- Some grounds will be impenetrable.
- Use the correct GroundGrabba for the job.
- The GG Pro (12") are not for loads in sand or soft grounds.

Convert Your Grounded Paws Kit into a Secure Dog Run
Need to give your pet more room to roam—without compromising safety? This Dog Run Kit transforms your Grounded Paws tie-down into a secure, straight-line run. Perfect for active dogs, long sites, or flexible camping setups.
How It Works
Setting up your straight-line dog run is simple:
- Install both GroundGrabbas – One at each end of your 5m or 10m tether cable. Keep the cable semi-taut to allow safe, smooth movement.
- Thread your dog’s leash – Pass one end of the cable through the leash handle or loop.
- Secure the cable ends – Use the supplied carabiners to attach each end of the cable to the GroundGrabbas underneath the hook washers.
- Let them roam – Your dog’s leash will now glide freely along the cable in a straight path—offering movement without tangling.
Installation Tips
- Use in firm ground – The included GroundGrabba Pro works best in firm dirt, clay, or grass-topped soil. For soft sand, use the 450mm Pro I instead.
- Drive in fully – Anchor should sit flush with the ground for maximum strength. Avoid leaving it partially exposed.
- Place wisely – Choose a clear area without sharp objects or entanglement risks to keep your pet safe.
- Store dry – Rinse after use and store the full kit in a dry area to prolong lifespan.
