Uses & Benefits
Why Choose the 900mm Threaded Version?
- Threaded for Narrow Mounts – Designed to pass through mounting holes as small as 15mm, where standard GroundGrabbas with wide hex heads and 40mm flights won't fit
- Flighted Shaft – Yes, this model still has flights for grip—but they won’t pass through steel base plates unless the hole is 40mm+ or 30mm if the plate is under 8mm thick
- Maximum Depth – At 900mm long, it’s built to anchor deep into soft, loose, or shifting ground where shallow threads fail
- Industrial-Grade Strength – Hot-dip galvanised GR14 steel handles field wear, torque stress, and repeated installs
- Reusable – Installs and removes easily for temporary setups or gear that moves from site to site
Tip: If your base plate is thin (e.g., 3–5mm), you might be able to use a regular GroundGrabba through a ~30mm hole—but it’s not recommended, as the 40mm flights may still bind or jam. That’s where the threaded version really shines.
