What It’s Not For

This model is not recommended for use with shipping containers, portable buildings, tiny homes, or solar installations. For larger structures or sites exposed to high winds or soft soil, we recommend stepping up to our 600mm Pro I or 900mm Pro II anchors.

Set Up  

How They Work

This currently is our entry level Commercial product.  Our Industrial commercial earth ground anchor earth range GR14 works by penetrating the ground and forming an inverted conical kind of shape of earth holding grip in the ground. 

If exposed to extreme lifting forces, unlike ground anchors that are threaded along the complete length of the shaft that catastrophic fail, our augur designed earth anchors will lift in a controlled failure way, usually giving advanced notice before failing as the augur section still needs to haul its way through the earth that is compacted on top. 

 Essentially compared to our general GR13 range, the shafts are thicker, the hex heads are larger and lengths are 450mm, 600mm and 900mm.

All Commercial Pro GroundGrabbas (GR14 series) require a 1" AF impact socket with a high-torque impact wrench.
Do not use low-power drills, as correct installation requires the torque only an impact wrench can provide.

For the Tiny Home - portable kit you will also need a small adjustable wrench to tighten up the stainless steel cable clamps.

Hold Strength

450mm GR14 Commercial and Threaded GroundGrabbas provide excellent anchoring strength in firm soils, clay, and compacted ground.
They hold significantly stronger than short rebar or star pickets.
Best suited for lighter tie-downs and medium-duty use.
For softer soils or higher wind loads, step up to the 600mm or 900mm GroundGrabba.

Yes. We ship Australia-wide. Regional and remote deliveries may take longer, and Star Track is our recommended courier for reliability outside metro areas. All orders are shipped with ATL (Authority to Leave) unless a signature is specifically requested at checkout.

We dispatch from Tweed Heads, NSW several times a week. Metro areas are typically 1–3 business days depending on proximity to Brisbane/Eastern Seaboard; regional and remote deliveries may take longer.
