Portable Toilet or Shower Bathroom Blocks

Whether it's a festival, construction site, camping event or mining camp, securing portable toilet or shower blocks is essential for safety and stability. GroundGrabba provides purpose-built, heavy-duty ground anchoring kits that prevent tipping or movement in high wind or uneven terrain. Quick to deploy, reliable to hold, and ideal for temporary infrastructure in remote or exposed environments.

Pro II Packs

Designed for versatility, the GroundGrabba Pro II is ideal for soft sand through to medium and hard-packed ground. Its extended shaft and aggressive spirals (flights) drive deep into the earth, delivering reliable holding power where traditional pegs fail. Whether anchoring portable toilets at a beachside event or securing shower units on firm clay, the Pro II offers fast, drill-powered setup and rock-solid stability.

Commercial Pro I Packs

The Commercial Pro I is a serious solution for securing mid-sized portable sanitation units. With a thick 15mm shaft and wide 41mm hex flange, it offers a heavy-duty grip in compacted ground, sandy loam, or mixed soils. Use it where greater holding power is needed — like exposed work sites, remote festivals, or mine camps.

Commercial Pro II Packs

Built for the most demanding anchoring conditions, the Commercial Pro II features an extended 900mm shaft for maximum penetration and grip. Whether you’re setting up ablution blocks in wind-prone regions or securing porta potties in soft, unstable soil, this anchor delivers reliable holding power under load. A go-to for high-risk sites or longer-term deployments.

Stainless Steel Tie Downs

Looped and crimped at both ends, these marine-grade stainless steel cables are made to pair with GroundGrabbas for secure anchoring. Available in 300mm x 5mm, 450mm x 5mm (for GR13 series), and 400mm x 6mm (for GR14 commercial series), they offer strong, compact tie-down options for portable toilets, showers, and other temporary setups.

From the founder:

Hi, I’m David Levine, inventor of GroundGrabba. In 2017, Susu and I set out to create purpose-built ground anchors. Today, our range secures everything from tents to tiny homes. We back our steel anchors with a Lifetime Replacement Warranty* and a 100% RISK-FREE 12-month return policy. Whatever you need to anchor, we’ll keep you grounded.

Hook Washer

Used with the GroundGrabba GR13 series (Pro, Pro I, Pro II), this washer prevents the anchor’s 26mm hex collar from pulling through over-sized baseplate or timber holes. It’s not an attachment point — it’s a smart, structural safeguard that ensures your anchor sits flush and clamps firmly against the surface. Especially useful when your mounting holes must be large enough for the anchor flights to pass through.

Reliable Anchoring for Portable Toilets, Porta Potties, and Shower Units

Portable sanitation units like toilets and shower blocks are essential infrastructure for outdoor events, remote worksites, construction zones, festivals, caravan parks, mining camps, and agricultural settings. But their lightweight design, combined with high winds or soft ground, can lead to movement, tipping, or structural damage — especially when they’re left unsecured.

GroundGrabba delivers a fast, effective solution to this widespread problem. Our screw-in ground anchors offer a drill-powered installation system that ensures stability, security, and peace of mind, even in challenging terrain. Whether you call them porta-loos, porta-potties, mobile ablution blocks, or portable hygiene units, anchoring them safely is critical — and GroundGrabba was built for this exact task.

When the weather turns, or a gust of wind hits an exposed site, the surface area of a portable toilet acts like a sail. If it’s not anchored down, the results can range from inconvenient to dangerous. That’s why GroundGrabba’s heavy-duty anchors are a go-to for outdoor infrastructure. Designed to drive deep into a wide range of substrates — from sandy soils to clay, compacted dirt, and even shale — our Commercial Pro I and Commercial Pro II anchors provide strong resistance against lift, pull, and lateral movement.

For higher-end applications or critical infrastructure in exposed areas, our stainless steel cable tie-downs add another layer of safety. These cable kits include marine-grade stainless cable, excellent for commercial or government settings.

In soft or unstable soil, many traditional tent pegs or surface-mounted footings simply don’t provide enough grip. In contrast, GroundGrabbas are installed using a cordless impact wrench or drill, boring into the ground with aggressive flights (threaded spirals) that deliver holding power far beyond the capabilities of hammered stakes or rebar rods. Once in, they stay in — even under strain from wind, weather, or accidental knocks.

Portable toilet enclosures often need to be repositioned, removed, or serviced. Our system is fully reusable — simply reverse your drill to back the anchor out. There’s no need to dig or struggle with stubborn pegs. This makes GroundGrabba the ideal choice for event organizers, trades, local councils, or any industry where speed of setup and removal matters.

GroundGrabba also understands that different structures have different mounting requirements. That’s why we offer accessories like Hook Washers and Hook Washer 14. These aren’t attachment points, but purpose-designed washers that prevent the hex collar of the anchor from pulling through over-sized mounting holes — especially in timber or steel base plates where clearance is needed for the anchor flights to pass through. GR13 anchors (like the Pro II) have a 26mm collar, while the GR14 commercial range (Commercial Pro I/II) features a 41mm flange — so matching the correct Hook Washer ensures a snug, secure clamp.

For job sites, caravan parks, campgrounds, festival grounds, or temporary ablution set-ups in remote regions, GroundGrabba offers a tough, adaptable anchoring system. These are not just “earth anchors” or “ground screws” — they’re an engineered solution for real-world anchoring problems.

And best of all? They're Australian-designed, built to last, and field-tested in harsh conditions. You can rely on them to hold fast — whether it’s for a day, a week, or a full season.
