Just another innovative adaptation solutions in our GG ground anchoring system. Our Pigtail Hook is your perfect solution for adapting your GroundGrabba pro, Pro I or Pro II and also bolts or coach bolts for easy rope attachment.

As you know there’s been no solution like this available until now. The Pigtail Hook Coach Bolt/ Bolt Hook has more uses than just a coach bolt hook/ tie down like cracking open your cold beer or even using the built-in hex tool to wind your USA made GroundGrabbas in and out of the ground.

The built in 16mm Hex tool can be used to help install or remove your USA made GroundGrabba Pro series from softer grounds.  These will still work on our traditional non USA made with 19mmm heads but you will need to be screw/wind onto the shaft and the built-in 16mm tool wont fit the older 19mm hexheads.

This is an upgrade of our HexHook Pro with attributes like a pigtail in the hook to help prevent the rope or spring from dropping off when setting up or if the rope goes slack.  The other improvement is the elliptical slot that slides over the 16mm hexhead of our USA made GroundGrabba Pro. Once slotted in, it can only be removed when extracted on the correct angle.

  • When using Battery drills please refer to the drill manufacturers warnings and safety instructions prior to use with GroundGrabba products. 
  • Only use GroundGrabba products for their intended purpose of ground anchoring things such as tents and shade canopies.
  • Always hold your drill firmly with both hands and use the inside of your legs as a drill guide with the drill handle in between your legs to help prevent torque twisting wrist or other injury. 
  • Always start your drill on the lowest torque setting.  Use a good quality high torque drill or impact wrench. 
  • For hard or extremely hard grounds we recommend pre drilling a minimum of a 10mm pilot hole to help with insertion. GroundGrabba Lites are only for soft loose grounds.
  • Some grounds will be impenetrable. 
  • Use the correct GroundGrabba for the job. 
  • The GG Pro (12") are not for loads in sand or soft grounds.
