Drill Driven Tent Peg
There wasn’t much labour saving technology around back 2000 years ago when the Romans invented the steel peg (stake). 2000 years later the cordless drill is a common tool to make our life easier. That is how the GroundGrabba drill driven tent peg was born.
Using your good quality high torque 18V cordless drill you can say all but goodbye to the old hammer in peg.
From soft beach sand to the hardest packed clay desert pans that can flip to soft mush in a matter of hours. We have a GroundGrabba Drill Driven Tent Peg to suit. Each GroundGrabba has a 19mm Hex head on the top of the Peg. Simply pop your 19mm Hex Socket Driver into your drill and away you go.
A Big Step Up From Your Old Style Tent Pegs
Our drill driven tent peg screws are easy and fast to insert into the ground with extreme grip. The level of anchoring you’ll achieve is way beyond a standard hammer in tent peg of the same girth and length. Holding your drill with a firm grip and exerting downward force you will feel GroundGrabbas winding themselves in. Your fingers and hands will thank you because they’ll no longer be a victim to the heavy hammer anymore. And your tent and tarp or pop up gazebos will be safe and secure too.
We are 100% sure you that you’ll agree….if not, your dollars back!
How many other brands do that?
See RV Dailys test review of screw-in tent pegs where GroundGrabbas were given a big thumbs up!
Both are made from super strong heat treated carbon steel and are galvanised.
The GroundGrabba Pro is the general purpose heavy duty drill driven tent peg. From semi soft earth to hard pack ground. You’ll just love the holding power.
The GroundGrabba Pro II is exceptional in soft sand at the beach or desert dunes but can also hold your largest tarp or high top tent. It can be used also in general to hard grounds*
*In hard grounds you may need to predrill a pilot hole. We recommend a minimum of 10mm x 300mm deep.
Driving in your GroundGrabba Pro or Pro II is fast and easy in most grounds. There are 19mm Hex bolt heads on top of the Pegs so all you need to do is connect it to the drill or impact wrench and get drilling. Simple!
Did you know that our GroundGrabba Pro II (600mm) can also be used in the softest of sands and even dried hard clay substrates?
Another is our GroundGrabba Lite. As the name suggests it is a lightweight version. Designed for soft loose grounds, even sand. With it’s aggressive flights (wings) it rips into the soft ground for maximum hold. Made of super tough Nylon with a special blend of glass that gives it it’s super tough qualities.
